Hi Tora lanu nitana 1

Lyrics

Hi torá lanu nitana,
kemigdal haLebanon,
meros Senir veHermon
tashuri merosh amana,
Hi torá lanu nitana.

Esta es la excelencia,
fuentes de aguas muy claras,
que la luz de nuestras caras
todos hagan reverencia.
De ella tomemos licencia
que nos dar el galardón
kerem bebaal hamon
una gente muy litana
Hi torá lanu nitana.

Betupim ubimholot,
con alegría y placeres,
salgan hombres y mujeres
diciendo las zemirot.
La'Adon haniflaot
que mehar Paran hofía'
Señor, venga el Masiah,
sepamos, Señor, ad ana.
Hi torá lanu nitana.

Guelilei zahav se acerquen,
Señora de los reitados,
gente que tal joya tienen
sean bien aventurados.
Cuando fuimos ajuntados
en el monte de Sinay
banim atem l'Adosem,
ani vahu hosiana.
Hi torá lanu nitana.

Dieron colot y beraquim
cuando har Sinay neeshan
Anojí ba be'anan,
El Norá ba'shehaquim,
Hayom atem nisabim
para recibir la Ley,
delante de un santo rey,
bou lefanav birnana
Hi torá lanu nitana.

Harninu kol Yisrael
a quien sostiene el mundo,
todos nos con nuestro gusto,
con shirim sharu laqu'El'
cumu, na'ale Bet El,
con zebahim y olot,
haremos los corbanot,
con grande querer y gana,
Hi torá lanu nitana.

Venga el hijo de David,
masiah el vencedor,
ani rojeb al hamor,
el hará por nos la Ley,
salga el ramo de David
a la pelea real
que del tronco de Yishay
af arsenu raanana,
Hi torá lanu nitana.

Zemirot den y loores
que nos sacó de Misrayim
qol Adoshem al hamayim
el Señor de los Señores.
Sanen a nuestros dolores,
medicine las  (á)  endas
la Ley es árbol de vida
con que todo Yisrael sana
Hi torá lanu nitana.

Hanun es tu santo Nombre,
todo muy republicado,
que nunca te dio hombre
está es muy averiguado
Yad Hashem los asombre
a Edom y Yismael,
sepan todo Yisrael
que es la gueulá cercana,
Hi torá lanu nitana.

Toda la gente del cielo
bau 'am haneqamot
sham sehaquim 'arabot,
bajaron en un vuelo,
muertos cayeron al suelo
con temor y gran clamor
cuando Dios dijo el favor:
Hi torá lanu nitana.

Translation

She, the Torah was given to us
Like the tower of Lebanon
From the peak of Snir and Hermon
Watch from the mountain peaks
She, the Torah was given to us

This is excellence,
sources of very clear waters,
may the light of our faces
make everyone bow down.
From it let us take leave
that it may give us the reward
A  vineyard from baal hamon
a very happy people
The Torah (she) was given to us

With drumming and dance
with joy and pleasures,
let men and women go out
saying the songs of praise
To the Lord of wonders
That appeared from the Paran mountain
Lord, may the Messiah come,
let us know, Lord, until when
She, the Torah was given to us

Scrolls of gold come closer,
Lady of the repeated,
people who have such a jewel
may they be blessed.
  When we were gathered together
on Mount Sinai
Children your are of God
Save me and him
  She, the Torah...

They gave voices and lightening
when mount Sinai was in smoke
“I come in a cloud”
Exhaulted God in the heavens,
   Today you are standing
In order to receive the Torah,
before a holy king,
come before him in joy
  She, the Torah ...

Sing all of Israel
to whom sustains the world
all of us with our joy,
with songs sung to the God
Arise, we will go to Beit El
with sacrifices
we will make the sacrifices
with great love and desire,
    She, the Torah....

Come, son of David,
messiah the victor,
“I ride on a donkey”
he will make the Torah for us,
let the branch of David come forth
to the royal battle
that from the trunk of Yishay
of land of renewal,
    She, the Torah ...

Songs give and praise
To him who brought us out of Egypt
The voice of God is on the water
the Lord of Lords.
Heal us of our pains,
with true medicine
the Torah is the tree of life
with which all Yisrael heals
 She, the Torah ...

Merciful is your holy Name,
as known again and again
which no man ever gave you
as is well confirmed
The hand of God astonished them
to Edom and Yishmael,
let all Yisrael know
that salvation is near,
  She, the Torah ...

All the dwellers of heaven
Came the people of revenge
from the skies to the desert,
came down in flight,
dead they fell to the ground
with fear and great clamor
when God proclaimed the favor
  She, the Torah ...

Description

Jerusalem National Sound Archives placement: Yc0931/22

This copla for Shavuot and Simchat Tora, the holiday for the receiving of the Torah,  begins with a verse in Hebrew, the first line of which, Hi Torá lanu nitana (“The Torah was given to us”), was popularly reversed to  “La lunitana,”. This line serves as a refrain for all the stanzas, which are arranged according to the Hebrew alphabet until the ninth letter "tet", this is a typical technique borrowed from para-liturgical poetry (piyutim). Much of the text is in fact, in Hebrew quoted from biblical sources, especially from Song of Songs.
