This song is by Sadik and Gazoz, (Sadik Gershon and Moshe Cazes) who set humorous ladino texts to popular tunes between 1924-1935 in Saloniki. This song was set to the melody of the Greek song "O ergatis". Following the original song, this is about a young man willing to marry without a dowry. In view of the hard times in Saloniki he suggests moving to Palestine. Sadik and Gazoz were not known as zionists and this is their only song in reference to Palestine. This version includes Ladino as well as Greek verses.
