A wedding dance celebrating the beauty of the bride and the good future of the home that the new couple will reside in.

Text:

alegres y gozosos y bien saludosos.

Translation:
Oh, what a shining of the lovely bride,
may she live a hundred years in happiness.
Come, my bride, let us rejoice. Oh, what a gleam from brow and eyebrow,
may she live a hundred years content,
let them come out to dance, I long to see them. In your good home, may no ember (of discontent) burn,
may its dwellers live always in love,
joyful, rejoicing, and in good health.
